How Climberoo makes money

Climberoo is set up to earn from paid links to retailers. A page with a paid link says so before the link.

How the links work

A paid link is marked as one on the page, beside the link, before you follow it. If you buy through it, the retailer may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same as it would be without the link.

We add links only for retailers and makers whose affiliate agreement with us is in place. A product with no approved retailer has no paid link: its button goes to the maker's own page, which pays us nothing, and the page is otherwise identical.

What paid links do not change

Which products we list, and what their pages say. Specifications come from the makers either way.
Which products we compare. Pairings follow the makers' own figures.
A product named in a CPSC recall notice never carries a paid link.
Where the maker, or a dealer it authorizes, sells the product and its programme approves us, its link appears before an Amazon marketplace listing's. That is about who sells the product and whose warranty covers it, not about commission.
